Anushka Sharma excited to work with Shah Rukh Khan and Imtiaz Ali
Anushka Sharma will be seen alongside the king of romance, Shah Rukh Khan in her next movie. This will be Anushka’s third movie with Shah Rukh, but the actress is excited as it will be directed by Imtiaz Ali, who is known to make intense love stories.
Shah Rukh and Anushka have worked together in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, but this will be first time they will be romancing together.
In Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi Anushka had played SRK’s wife, but according to her it “wasn’t that romantic” as in the movie she “did not know who the guy was”.
Anushka, who has recently given a blockbuster with Salman Khan, said that she is excited for her upcoming movie, as she is casted opposite to Shah Rukh, and as Imtiaz directing the movie, it is an icing on the cake.
“Imtiaz understands man-woman relationship in an intense way. There is a growth in his characters during the course of the film, love teaches them,” Anushka said. “I think that’s the beauty of his romantic movies. Shah Rukh is the king of romance. He redefined love to an entire generation.”
“His intensity as an actor and humility as a person is going to come across on screen,” she added. “It’s a great opportunity for me to work with the king of romance and a director, whose love stories are always so special and romantic.”
