Deepika Padukone is making her Hollywood debut, alongside superstar Vin Diesel, in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ is one of the most-anticipated movies, and even Deepika couldn’t hide the excitement, while talking about the project.
The Return of Xander Cage, featuring Samuel Jackson, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann and others, is set to release January 20, next year. Deepika talked about her experience of working with Diesel on the sideline of 2016 International Indian Film Academy awards (IIFA).
“It was amazing and I think like I have always said, I think it is the experiences that make movies special and he (Diesel) was a huge part of making the experience very special for me,” Deepika said.
Deepika has recently wrapped-up xXx’s shooting, and the ‘Om Shanti Om’ actress was all praise for her co-star and producer Diesel, who, according to her, made everything smooth in the foreign land. She also called him one of the most generous human being.
“It can be very unnerving when you move into foreign land and work with new people in new environment, but Diesel was there with me on every step,” Deepika said.
“He made sure that I was comfortable and making sure everything went up smoothly not just for me but for the entire team and he is one of the most generous human beings I have ever met.”
