Deepika Padukone is now Asia’s most followed woman on Twitter

After surpassing Indonesian star Agnez Mo’s followers, Indian actress Deepika Padukone is now Asia’s most followed woman on Twitter. The actress now has a whopping 16 million followers and has Mo, who stands at 15.8 million followers.

There has been a sharp rise in Padukone’s fandom as she is on a roll with big  hits like “Piku” and “Bajirao Mastani,” in her kitty. Also these movies have raked in many awards for her. Deepika is also  exploring international terrain with xXx: Return of the Xander Cage that has catapulted her to being listed among the top 10 highest-paid actresses in the world by Forbes.

Known for her subtle acting and great looks, the Bollywood actress is on the top of her game right now. From playing strong characters to openly speaking about her fight with depression, Padukone has been making all the right moves lately.
