It is been almost a year since Hera Pheri 3 was announced. The film is yet to go on the floor, and everyone, including the star-cast, is wondering what is happening behind the scene.
Hera Pheri 3 is the third installment of highly successful comedy franchise, Hera Pheri. A year ago, John Abraham, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Abhishek Bachchan were named in the lead roles.
Allegedly, financial constrains have halted the development of the movie. “Today, at this point, I don’t know if it is happening or not,” John said. “I don’t think it is happening but I am not sure.”
John is currently basking on the success of Dishoom, also starring Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandes, and shooting for his next movie, Force 2. The Madras Café star, however, is clueless on when the Firoz Nadiadwala produced film is going on the floor.
“Firoz Nadiadwala is the right person to answer that question,” John stressed. “If you get an answer please tell me because I genuinely don’t know anything about the film. He is the best person to have an idea.”
Despite all the delays, John still wants to be part of the movie.
“We launched the film. I heard Abhishek Bachchan dropped out but I have not communicated on this with him,” John said. “It’s producers prerogative to tell us what is happening.”
