In his 24 years long acting career, Shah Rukh Khan has established himself as a go-to-man for any romantic-commercial cinema. His recent movies, such as Chennai Express, Dilwale, Fan and Happy New Year, were successful at the Box Office.

Manoj Bajpayee, who is unlike SRK, and took the road less travelled by, by doing unconventional roles, said that the Bollywood Badshah “was born to do commercial cinema”. Interestingly, Bajpayee, who is known to be a method actor, studied acting with SRK in his early days.

“Shah Rukh was born to do commercial cinema and I was born to do what I am doing, what I am known for,” Bajpayee said. “Shah Rukh has done extremely well in the category he has chosen for himself and we all are really proud of him and I really hope I keep making him proud.”

Shah Rukh Khan turning down Hollywood offers

Shah Rukh has a massive fan base in the West. He has been a face of Bollywood; still the superstar is not doing any projects in the Hollywood. His next movie is ‘Raees’ releasing next year.

According to Shah Rukh’s close friend Farah Khan, the Badshah is turning down roles because they are not doing justice to his image. “I know for a fact that Shah Rukh has turned down many Hollywood roles as they were not big enough for him,” Farah said.

Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are making giant leaps in the Hollywood. The former will be seen in ‘Baywatch’ opposite Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, while Deepika is making her Hollywood debut alongside Vin Diesel in ‘XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage’.
