Sunny Leone booked after singing national anthem in Pro Kabaddi League

A seemingly harmless act has landed Sunny Leone into a legal tussle. The Bollywood actress has been booked for incorrectly singing the national anthem during the Pro Kabaddi League. A complaint has been filed in Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar Police Station.

The Bollywood diva had sung the national anthem, for which she prepared for almost a month. But, according to the complaint, she pronounced certain words in the patriotic song wrongly.

According to Ullas, the complainant, Sunny is a popular figure, and she should have practiced the anthem thoroughly. The complainant insisted that she is a popular figure, and the wrong pronunciation will also influence her fans.

Meanwhile, the Indo-Canadian actress was ecstatic after singing the national anthem in the sports event. She said that it was an honor to sing the anthem, while thanking her team for helping the words right.

“It’s a proud moment for me,” Sunny said. “I had never ever desired or thought that I would get to sing the national anthem. I feel blessed and honored. I was very nervous.”

“I am thankful to my team and husband for helping with this (getting national anthem right),” she added. “I did rehearse for quite some time.”

Little Sunny knew that even her best effort will put her into trouble waters.
